Many of us are probably guilty of doing it ourselves when we were kids (but that was back before they had caller id). Yes I am not proud to say so, but I did "prank" or "crank" call with my friends when I was a young kid. I remember when I was 10 years old my best friend and I would just go down the phone book and call people with funny names to mess with them.

Now I am all grown up and I guess I'm getting payback or experiencing a form of 'karma'. But the kids today don't have it as easy as we did because of technology. Back in the 80's people didn't have 'caller id' and it would take an emergency situation or major incident to actually have the phone company trace the phone number that a call came from. Today most everybody has 'caller id' and while there are things like 'call block' to hide or mask a phone number, it doesn't take much to track down the phone number of a person who's calling you.

I recently experienced a kid calling me on my work number and bugging me. He was using crude language and saying some pretty horrible things. I knew it was a kid and I didn't feel threatened, but it did annoy the hell out of me. This kid didn't even go to any trouble to block his number. The actual phone number would show up on my caller id, but no name was with it. After the third day of harassment I was pissed off and decided to do a reverse telephone number search.

Well about 15 seconds after typing the phone number in the site I use (reversephonedetective) all the information I needed (and more) popped up on my screen. Since the home address listed was only about twenty minutes away I took a drive to the kid's house. His father (who the phone number was listed to) answered the door and listened to me as I explained why I was there.

You should have seen the look on this kid's face, it was priceless! His dad ripped him a new one and took away his cell phone on top of making him apologize to me. The dad was actually a little surprised at how easily I tracked him down and asked me to give him the name of the database that I had used.

Anyway I don't think I'll be getting anymore calls from that kid. Parents, you may want to tell your kids about this or let them read my article to discourage them from doing stupid things like this. You've got to be careful these days and use some common sense. I'm a pretty easy-going guy, but you never know, you just may end up pissing off the wrong person!

Scott
http://www.telephonereverse.net

Cell Phone Reverse Search

So, what is a cell phone reverse search? Well, it is exactly what it sounds like. It is a search to find out the name of the owner, as well as other information, of a particular cell phone number. Actually this search can be done with home or land-line phone numbers also. Surprisingly enough, even if the number is unlisted you can still find this information! Kind of scary, but with today's modern technology it should not be surprising.

Public and private companies collect and sell this data using various different methods. We should all keep in mind that almost nothing is completely private in the world we live in today. But, having access to this information can be used to your advantage if you are in the position where you are wanting to find out who's phone number has been calling you or another member of your family.

Some of the other information that can be located using a reverse cell phone number search, other than the owner name, is the cell phone carrier, the address of the registered user, date the telephone number was established, and also a criminal background check!

Don't feel powerless with unknown phone numbers. Take advantage of modern technology and find out who has been calling you. Go to my site and start your preliminary search by typing in the phone number in the box provided toward the bottom of the page. You'll find out some basic information and then you can decide if you'd like to proceed on to find out more information on that person. Don't wait any longer, go to my site now!

Scott
http://www.telephonereverse.net

Reverse Phone Number Lookup

Are you looking to find the owner or user of a particular phone number? Whether it is a cell phone or land line phone number that you are searching for, you can now quickly and easily locate this information with a few keystrokes and mouse-clicks. This is known as a reverse phone number look-up. Even if the number is supposed to be "unlisted" the information can still be found due to the huge number of databases created from information that public and private companies sell to individuals and businesses. I know it may seem kind of scary, but what can we do? Just be aware that nothing is totally private in today's world and just do your best to protect you and your family's safety.

Modern technology and the explosion of the Internet has provided us with many more tools and information than was previously available. As with anything, this information can be used for good or for bad, but that should not prevent us from developing and using this technology. Public information used to be a lot harder to access, but now it is much more convenient.

The bright side is that most people are good and this information can be used to catch criminals or pranksters. You may want to lookup a strange phone number on your spouse's phone or stop annoying telemarketers. Whatever your reason may be, you can quickly do a reverse phone number search to find out the caller's name, address, and even criminal background history.

Please visit my site and type the phone number you are trying to get information on in the box near the bottom of the page to start your preliminary search.
